A vigilant attendance system
The SmartBusMonitor is a real-time attendance solution which brings in international best practices and technology to support educational institutions by making sure that the children have a safe, comfortable and reliable transportation to the school and back home.
Right to safety
Every child matters and safety is a right of every passenger. Students are the responsibility of the school the moment they enter a school bus. Accordingly, their time of entry is captured using the RFID based ID cards and updated real time as they enter the school bus. The time they get down at the school, when they board the bus after school and the time the student is dropped off at their home bus stop is also recorded. This information is vital in emergency situations for investigations when a student is reported missing after they were dropped off.
Smart attendance
Every bus is equipped with an RFID reader and a controller. Students are issued with RFID enabled student ID cards. The student attendance is captured while they board the school bus and is updated in the software real time. Notifications are sent to the parents and the parent can view the live location of the bus in which their children are traveling until they reach the school or back home.
Transportation dashboard
Live feeds enrich the Transportation Dashboard which features all the vital statistics of the transportation system. The number of students who are traveling in the buses, the number of students who have reached the school etc. are dynamically updated in the Dashboard by the IoTroid engine. The student attendance ratio, strength of the fleet, number of students using the transportation system and a host of other statistics are also updated in the Dashboard providing a holistic view of the Transportation system.
Attendance history
The attendance history of the students is maintained in the system which can be composed into various reports based on the bus routes, grades etc. The reports can be exported to several useful file formats for use by third party software such as the school ERP or accounting solutions. The reports can also be emailed in pdf format.
Easy management
You know how it is to manage a large fleet of buses. Each day there will be some break down or some buses must be pulled off service due to periodic maintenance etc. Few drivers don't turn up for work. The attendant in Bus No. 4 has reported sick. Something or the other, unpredictable things happen all the time. The SmartBus Monitoring system handles it all. Depending on the availability, you can schedule the bus, driver or attendant in a route and it all gets updated automatically in the system so that you don't have to worry about manually updating any of these information in the system. That's why we call it a SmartBusMonitor.
Administration Simplified
The software provides for easy administration by a bulk data importing feature where you can import information of a large number of students in a batch. This makes setting up the system quick and efficient. A bulk photo upload feature is also available to upload the photographs of all the students.
